INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS

THIS INDEMNIFICATION AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS is made by the signatory or signatories identified below on the date specified below.

In consideration of the permission granted by GIBSON ISLAND CLUB INCORPORATED to me, and, if I am a member of GIBSON ISLAND CLUB INCORPORATED, to any member of my immediate family or other guest (including any minor) whom I sponsor, to enter or use, or otherwise participate in any shoot, clinic or other event or any related activities at, the skeet shooting range located on property leased by GIBSON ISLAND CLUB INCORPORATED on Gibson Island, Maryland (the “Skeet Range”) during its permitted hours of operation on my own behalf and on behalf of my estate, executors and administrators, I hereby:

(a) Release, acquit and discharge GIBSON ISLAND CLUB INCORPORATED, GIBSON ISLAND CORPORATION, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents and employees and the respective successors, heirs, executors and administrators of each of the foregoing (all of the foregoing parties being hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Gibson Island Releasees”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, injuries, damages, liabilities, and costs (including attorneys’ fees) of any and every kind and description, including personal injuries and injuries to real or personal property, whether known or unknown, now existing or hereafter arising (all of the foregoing being hereinafter collectively referred to as “Claims”), which the undersigned ever had, now has, or may in the future have, or which the undersigned's estate, heirs, executors, administrators and/or assigns may have, or may claim to have, against any of the Gibson Island Releasees caused by, arising out of or by reason of, or otherwise connected with, my, and/or any of my family members or guests (including any minors), entry onto or any use of the Skeet Range, including, without limitation, being a spectator or actively participating in any shoot, clinic or other event taking place at the Skeet Range or any other related activities.

(b) Agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Gibson Island Releasees from and against any and all Claims that any Gibson Island Releasee may incur, suffer or be required to respond to, caused by, arising out of or by reason of, or otherwise connected with, my, and/or any of my family members or guests (including any minors) if I am a member of GIBSON ISLAND CLUB INCORPORATED, entry onto or any use of the Skeet Range, including, without limitation, being a spectator or actively participating in any shoot, clinic or other event taking place at the Skeet Range or any other related activities. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I agree to pay any and all costs of defending any and all Gibson Island Releasees against any such Claim, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, as and when such costs are incurred.

I understand and acknowledge that entry onto and use of the Skeet Range in which I and others are engaged in shooting activities involves inherent extreme hazards, dangers, and risks, and I expressly assume all such hazards, dangers, and risks. I represent that I can legally possess and use a firearm, I am physically able, emotionally stable, and fully competent to participate in shooting activities and that I freely, knowingly, and voluntarily assume the risks of participating in such activities, including the risks of property damage, bodily harm, and death.

I acknowledge and confirm that I have reviewed the current rules applicable to entry on or use of the Skeet Range, including, without limitation the Gibson Island Club Skeet Range Rules and any applicable Federal, State of Maryland or local laws, regulations or rules (collectively, the “Rules”), and I agree that I will comply with all such Rules.

If I am a member of GIBSON ISLAND CLUB INCORPORATED, I further acknowledge and confirm that I have verified that any guest or minor whom I may sponsor has reviewed the Rules and that I will require any such guest or minor whom I may sponsor to comply with them.

I give my written consent and authorization for the named Minor to enter onto and/or to participate in the shooting of firearms at the Skeet Range in my presence or in the presence of the Member signing below.
