Pace of Play: All groups playing the Gibson Island Club are encouraged to meet the Pace of Play guidelines set by the Golf Professional Staff and the Golf Committee. Singles are strongly encouraged to refrain from playing during the weekend or when the course is busy. A suggested standard is 3 hours and 45 minutes for a foursome to complete 18 holes. “Ready Golf” is encouraged. It is the group’s responsibility to keep pace with like groups in front of them. If a group loses a clear hole in front of them and it is delaying the group behind, it should invite the group behind to play through, irrespective of the number of players in that group.

Course Care: Please help take care of the golf course by way of repairing your ball marks, replacing your divots or using the sand & seed mix when provided, and smoothing bunkers. In addition, golf carts should not be driven within 10 yards of each green complex, and you should exit the fairways to the cart path side of the green to lead you to the next hole of play.

One Set of Clubs per Player: Each golfer must have in their possession during a round a set of clubs. Golf club rental sets are available at the Golf Shop. Please note that there is a limited number of rental sets, and they are provided on a first-come basis.
