nine-hole course designed by Charles Blair Macdonald

Gibson Island Club's nine-hole golf course was designed by Charles Blair Macdonald (considered by golf historians as the father of American golf course architecture) and his associate, Seth J. Raynor. The magnificent scenery afforded by the extraordinary views of the Chesapeake Bay & Magothy River as well as the golf course's unique topography provides our Members & their guests with an exceptional golf experience. Gibson Island Club's golf course ranks as one of the best nine-hole courses in the United States, and while Gibson Island Club may be Macdonald’s least known course, it is certainly among his best!
