Gibson Island's award-winning nine-hole golf course was designed by Charles Blair Macdonald (considered by golf historians as the father of American golf course architecture) and his associate, Seth J. Raynor. The magnificent scenery afforded by the extraordinary views of the Chesapeake Bay provides a golf setting that is unequaled in the area. Tremendous trees line many of the fairways and the topography provides opportunities for a great variety of interesting golf holes. The Gibson Island Golf Course is certainly the most beautiful and ranks as one of the best nine-hole courses in Maryland. Members have unlimited access to the course, along with a practice range to perfect their game. Our Golf Course may be Macdonald’s least known course; however, it is certainly among his best!
